DOA2 is the 3D fighting game we've all been waiting for. Combining the styles of VF3 and Power Stone, DOA2 is an incredible fighting game. "Button mashers" and fighting masters alike will have a great time with this game. The player models and locations alike are jaw-droppingly realistic. The music is incredible and the sounds are as realistic as the player models. Hard to find something to dislike in this game, but I think I've done a good job.
Graphics- 9.5 Realism with very slight slow down.
Gameplay- 10 Power Stone's use of environments and VF3's forcing your opponent out of the ring are combined with a standard 3D fighting style.
Replay Value- 9 After playing this for awhile against the CPU, it gets slightly repetetive. But playing against a friend adds a whole 'nother level.
Music/Sound- 9.5 The music is incredible and the sounds are realistic, right down to the annoying battle cries.
Average- 9.5 Very realistic models and incredible gameplay combine to make a game worth paying any price the market can bear.
