Patrick's Web Site- Champ. Cart Racing for Dreamcast

This game is one of those racing games you either love as a Nascar racing fan, or you hate as an avid video game racer. Personally, I fall under the later category. But I have tried to review this game in a fair and unbiased way. But you have been warned. Anyway, like most Dreamcast games, this game has great graphics that are incredibly realistic. The handling isn't as realistic as that of other racing games of it's kind, and I see that as a plus. This made playing this game more fun than other Nascar type games, like Monoco Grand Prix. This feature was probably incorporated because CCR Sega-made game, and we all know how great a developer Sega is. The replay value in this game is small, but it's there. And the music, like all Sega games, is good at worst. The sounds are also very realistic. All in all, this game is worth a rental from Nascar and/or Sega fans, and a look from everyone else.

Graphics: 10 Very smooth, with no pop-up.

Gameplay: 8 The handling isn't realistic (like other Nascar games), but I see that as a plus. It's more like NFS without the good backgrounds.

Replay Value: 7 Small, but there. 'Nuff said.

Music/Sound: 9 The music is good at worst, and the sounds are realistic.

Average: 8.5 Worth a rental from Nascar fans and a look from everyone else.
